THE STORY
The Billy Boys are best symbolized by the opposing branches of the hangin' tree, otherwise known as the scene of the crime. The Convict, Lawman, Malcontent, Undertaker and Gambler have been given one last chance at redemption as Billy W, Billy D, Billy C, Billy P and Billy K. They not only play for their supper, they play for their very souls. Which makes for a sound that goes great with a beer.
THE LATEST
The Billy Boys are duking it out with other bands in the Emergenza Music Festival. It's a Battle of the Bands format and is going through the early elimination stages in San Francisco at the Rockit Room on Clement Street. I'm happy to say the Billys are progressing and have reached the second stage. For our next musical rumble, we are investigating offering a party bus for the Billy faithful with pick-ups in Fairfax and San Rafael. Needless to say, this bus will allow you to party without the hassle of driving. We're not sure how long our run will last (hopefully to the American Music Hall show), so we're going to turn this event into an excuse to party. If you're interested in this inspired exercise in excess frivolity, send us a note saying, "Hell, yeah! Get the bus!" And thank you for your continued interest in our musical meanderings!
